ProveX Using Zelle from Your Bank

ProveX is a peer-to-peer (P2P) fiat-to-crypto on-ramp using zero-knowledge proofs for trust-minimized trades, primarily for USDC on PulseChain. It supports Zelle directly from many US bank accounts.

⚠️

Important Notes Before Starting

  • Beta software: This is cutting-edge software — start with small test amounts due to potential bugs.
  • Wallet required: You need a PulseChain-compatible wallet (e.g., MetaMask with PulseChain network added) to receive funds.
  • How it works: It's P2P — a seller locks crypto in escrow; you prove payment via Zelle using a browser extension; the smart contract releases the crypto automatically.
  • No platform KYC: No traditional KYC on the platform itself, but your bank/Zelle may have limits.
1

Prepare Your Wallet

  • Set up or open a wallet supporting PulseChain (e.g., MetaMask).
  • Add the PulseChain network if not already done (details on pulsechain.com).
  • Ensure you have a small amount of PLS for any future gas fees (though initial receipt may not require it immediately).
2

Go to ProveX

Visit app.provex.com (or provex.com and navigate to the buy section).

  • Select Zelle as your payment method under "You Send" (USD via Zelle).
  • Choose USDC (on PulseChain) as "You Receive."
3

Connect Your Wallet

  • Click Connect Wallet and connect your PulseChain wallet.
  • This prepares you to receive the USDC on-chain.
4

Create or Select an Order

  • Enter the USD amount you want to send via Zelle.
  • Browse or match with available sell orders (liquidity from users who have locked USDC in escrow).
  • Review the terms, rate, and seller details.
5

Send Payment via Zelle

  • Use the Zelle details provided (typically the seller's Zelle-linked email/phone or account).
  • Send the exact USD amount from your bank app that supports Zelle (most major US banks do).
  • Complete the transfer in your bank's mobile app or online banking.
6

Generate & Submit Proof (Key Step)

  • Install/use the ProveX browser extension (required for zero-knowledge proof generation).
  • The extension helps prove the Zelle payment mathematically without sharing sensitive login data.
  • Submit the proof — the smart contract verifies it automatically.
  • Once verified, the locked USDC releases directly to your connected PulseChain wallet.

Confirm Receipt

  • Check your wallet for the incoming USDC on PulseChain.
  • You can then swap USDC for PLS, PLSX, HEX, or other tokens on PulseX or other DEXes.
