From Banks and Back to Banks
Old Glory Bank → 0xCoast → PulseChain moves dollars from an Old Glory Bank account by Old Glory Pay into a Coast account, then as tokens to a PulseChain wallet.
Old Glory Bank Account Setup & Funding
Open an account at Old Glory Bank (online/mobile app, available in all 50 US states). It's an FDIC-insured bank focused on pro-crypto/freedom-oriented banking.
Fund your account via:
- ACH transfers from another bank
- Mobile check deposit
- Cash deposits (Cash-IN) at over 88,000 retail locations
- Direct deposit, wires, etc.
Coast accepts deposits through Old Glory Pay (a private, secure payment system).
Old Glory Bank → Coast App (Deposit)
- Create a Coast account at app.0xcoast.com. Coast's Terms of Service ↗ require users to be 18 or older and say Coast may ask for identity verification.
- Open Coast's deposit page (app.0xcoast.com/deposit-and-withdraw), choose Old Glory Pay, and copy the unique Memo the page shows.
- In the Old Glory Pay app (a separate download from the Old Glory Bank app, same login), choose Transfer, tap To/From, select Business, search for Coast, enter the amount and paste the Memo, then Pay and Confirm Pay. Coast's help center ↗: a deposit sent without the Memo is not processed automatically. Old Glory Bank ↗: Old Glory Pay payments are not reversible, and a personal account sends at most $5,000 a day.
- Deposits are often automated and can appear in your Coast digital account quickly.
No crypto involved at this stage: an Old Glory Pay payment from the sender’s own Old Glory account to Coast’s business account. Old Glory Bank’s FDIC cover applies to the sender’s own Old Glory account; once the payment reaches Coast, the money has left that account. Coast’s Terms of Service ↗ (effective 2026-01-01) call a Coast balance a prepayment that is “not deposits in a financial sense,” handled by Coast’s subsidiary CTS Global, and say that if Coast ends the agreement “any remaining account balances may be forfeited or refunded at our discretion.”
Coast → Buy Assets on PulseChain
Once funds are in your Coast account, connect your PulseChain wallet (e.g., MetaMask or Internet Money Wallet).
Coast's Buy is gasless: bought tokens can arrive in a wallet that holds no PLS, and Coast's Buy can deliver PLS itself. Every later on-chain action (a swap, a send, a stake, a Coast Sell) pays gas in PLS, so a wallet holding only HEX or PLSX cannot move the HEX or PLSX until the wallet holds some PLS. MetaMask shows PulseChain balances once the network is added (chain ID 369, RPC https://rpc.pulsechain.com).
Direct Buy:
Coast's Buy spends the USD balance on PulseChain assets such as PLS, PLSX and HEX. On Coast's Buy/Sell tab (left-hand margin), choose Buy, enter a dollar amount in the You Pay box, click Check Price, then Buy. Coast's help center ↗ says no PLS and no signature are needed: Coast runs a Trade and a Send transaction on PulseChain in the background, and the tokens arrive in the connected wallet, typically in 4–8 minutes. The price is not locked until the Trade succeeds. A failed Trade is retried after 15 minutes, and one that keeps failing is refunded by Coast staff during business hours.
Funds/tokens go directly to your connected wallet — full self-custody from this point.
On PulseChain
Use purchased tokens for DeFi, swapping, liquidity provision, etc., on PulseChain (a fast, low-fee Ethereum fork).
Off-ramping: Coast's Buy/Sell tab, set to Sell, turns wPLS, PLSX, HEX or INC into a USD balance in the Coast account (PLS is wrapped to wPLS first; the sale is a wallet transaction paid in PLS gas). Coast's help center then describes an Old Glory Pay withdrawal to the Old Glory Pay nickname saved in Coast: a $5 processing fee, paid out in two daily batches; Old Glory Pay receives at most $5,000 a day into a personal account. Coast's Terms of Service ↗ (section 3) say account balances “are not convertible to USD or any other fiat or digital currency outside of the Services” and call withdrawals “refunds of unused prepayments, if applicable”; Coast's help center describes the withdrawal above.
