Actuator Local Runner
=====================

This package contains a static Actuator web build and small scripts that serve it
from your own computer at http://127.0.0.1:4173.

Recommended
-----------

Use the hosted app unless you specifically want to inspect or self-host this
build:

https://app.actuator.finance

Run locally
-----------

macOS:
1. Control-click "Start Actuator.command" and choose Open.
2. If macOS says Apple could not verify it, click Done.
3. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down to the Security
section, find the row that says "Start Actuator.command" was blocked to
protect your Mac, and click Open Anyway.
4. If macOS still blocks it, open Terminal in this folder and run:
   xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine .
Then Control-click "Start Actuator.command" and choose Open again.

Windows:
1. Double-click "Start Actuator Windows.bat".
2. If Windows asks for permission, allow it to run PowerShell.

Linux:
1. Run "./start-actuator-linux.sh" from a terminal.

Notes
-----

- Leave the terminal window open while using the app.
- Press Ctrl+C in the terminal window to stop the local server.
- The app files stay on your computer; blockchain/RPC and indexer calls still use
  the configured public network endpoints.
- If the script cannot find a local web-server runtime on macOS/Linux, install
Python 3 or Node.js, or use the IPFS launch link instead.
